1. REGRIPPING
Why Regrip?
Grips are your only contact with the club. Grips should be the proper size and feel for you. There are many different factors to consider when choosing a grip. Grips should be changed when they show wear or become slippery/shiny. Excessive grip pressure is a distance killer, if you need to apply a death grip to your clubs to hold onto them it is time to change your grips. ​
Any regripping includes a consultation on appropriate grip sizing. Factors to consider when regripping are:

Put your mind at ease.
Are your club’s specs as advertised? Components are all built to +/- tolerances. It is not uncommon for lofts to be off enough to affect the gapping between clubs. (Example your 7 iron is 1 or 2 degrees weak and your 8 iron is 1 or 2 degrees strong. You hit them about the same distance instead of having a 10-12 yard gap and can’t figure out why. Unknown to you, you are essentially hitting the same club.)
Your Lie angles are subject to the same tolerances and should be checked

Set Blueprint
Ensure your equipment specs aren’t causing you grief. Have the lofts of your clubs checked to ensure proper gapping.

Just getting started?
One of the more economical ways to begin golf is to get a box set to start. Many sets come with Driver, Fairway wood, Hybrid, Irons, putter and a bag at a fraction of the price of buying individual clubs. These clubs are not custom fit; however, it is a great option for juniors who will grow out of any set of clubs or social/work golfers who will play less than 5 times a year in a few social outings. A box set is great economical solution to own a set of clubs when taking up the game to see if you want to increase participation. Talk to me about a Box Set.
