My name is Shane "Sonny" Vahey. I am a 39-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces predominantly serving in the Royal Canadian Artillery.  I am currently transitioning to a second career in Golf Club Fitting, Building and Repair.

I am a lifelong golfer with a true passion for the game. Using the work ethic and skills I obtained in the military as well as my formal education in club making, I aim to bring you the best experience possible as a customer.

I have taken every course available through The Golfworks Clubmaking Academy in both Ottawa and Newark. I read all the reference material I can get my hands on, conducted extensive research through online resources and have also taken the opportunity to get to know several fellow Club Fitters and Builders in Canada and the United States to increase my knowledge and skill.

I attended Prince’s Operation Entrepreneur, August 2019 at the University of Regina. I am also a proud member of Buy Veteran.ca

My philosophy is to provide personalized service in a no pressure environment to help golfers of all skill levels increase their enjoyment of the game by having the most appropriate equipment.
